Phin Scardaw was born in Northern Ontario, Canada, where he discovered a passion for the arts at an early age. He now resides in Montreal where he stays up late drinking and writing.

He was the creative force behind Propulsion, a vegan cantina in the heart of Montreal’s gay village, as well as Le Piano Rouge, a chic piano bar in the trendy old port. He taught English in Taiwan at the prestigious Big Byte Language Institute and, upon his return to Canada, founded his own mobile bartending company, Serve Chilled Bartending.
